Compact Tabletop LED Light

The GODOX LC30D is a compact daylight-balanced LED light designed primarily for tabletop photography, product shooting, live streaming, and content creation. Its cup-sized body measures approximately 76 × 76 × 92 mm and weighs only about 299 g, making it easy to position on a small shooting table or carry between locations. The compact construction is particularly practical when working with small products, crafts, demonstrations, reviews, and other close-range subjects.

Daylight-Balanced 5600K Output

The LC30D features a fixed color temperature of 5600K, providing a daylight-balanced light source for applications where consistent color temperature is preferred. Unlike a bi-color fixture, its fixed daylight output is focused on straightforward operation and stable illumination, making it suitable for product photography, tabletop video, streaming, and situations where the light needs to remain consistent throughout a shoot.

Powerful 33W LED Source

Despite its compact dimensions, the LC30D has a maximum power consumption of 33W and is designed to deliver concentrated illumination from its small optical system. At 5600K and 100% brightness, it produces approximately 35,800 lux at 0.5 m, 9,600 lux at 1 m, and 2,500 lux at 2 m. This output makes the light particularly effective for close-range tabletop applications.

High Color Accuracy

The LC30D provides a CRI of approximately 95 and a TLCI of approximately 96, supporting natural and consistent color reproduction in both photography and video. This is particularly important for product photography, where the appearance of colors, materials, surfaces, and fine details needs to remain reliable. The light is therefore suitable for small commercial productions as well as everyday content creation.

Eight Built-In Lighting Effects

The LC30D includes eight built-in FX lighting effects for situations where a static daylight source is not sufficient. The available effects include three flash simulations, three storm simulations, broken bulb, and TV. These modes can be used to introduce changing illumination into video scenes, simulate environmental light sources, or add controlled visual effects without requiring additional lighting equipment.

AC and Battery Operation

The LC30D operates from a DC 14V power supply and can be used with its AC adapter for stationary work. It can also be powered using two NP-F970 batteries when paired with the appropriate optional battery box, allowing the light to be used away from a mains power source. This dual-power design makes it suitable for both tabletop studio setups and mobile production.

Flexible Mounting and Light Shaping

The LC30D includes an AH-01 mounting bracket and supports additional diffusion accessories for modifying the character of the light. Optional accessories such as the ML-CD15 spherical diffuser and other compatible diffusers can be used to create softer and more varied illumination. The fixture can also be mounted using its 1/4"-20 connection and shoe-style mounting options, while the working temperature range of -10°C to 40°C allows it to be used in a variety of indoor production environments.
