Sony Center

Receive your goods in our Sony Center stores in Riga, Brivibas street 40 and Kalnciema street 137a.

DPD

Delivery to your doorstep by DPD courier or to Pickup Paku Bode delivery points in all Baltic States within 2-3 working days from receipt of order.

Payment methods:

  • Prepayment in cash, by payment card or by bank transfer at the stores in Brīvības iela 40 or Kalnciema iela 137A;
  • Prepayment by credit card or bank transfer at center.lv;
  • Payment to the courier upon receipt by payment card.

Venipak

Delivery to your doorstep by Venipak courier or to Venipak Pickup points throughout the Baltics within 2-3 working days from receipt of order.

Payment methods:

  • Prepayment in cash, by credit card or by bank transfer at the shops in Brīvības iela 40 or Kalnciema iela 137A;
  • Prepayment by credit card or bank transfer at center.lv;
  • Payment to the courier upon receipt in cash or by payment card.

 

Delivery of goods

1.1. The Buyer is obliged to specify the exact delivery address when ordering the Goods.

1.2. The Buyer is obliged to collect the Goods itself. If the Buyer is unable to collect the goods himself, but the goods have been delivered to the address specified by the Buyer, the Buyer shall not be entitled to make any claim for delivery of the goods to the wrong person.

1.3. The Seller shall deliver the goods to the Buyer in accordance with the delivery terms. The delivery period in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia is up to 4 (four) working days. The delivery terms shall not apply in cases when the Seller does not have the required goods in stock, while the Buyer is informed about the shortage of the goods ordered by him. By reading these Conditions, the Buyer agrees that, exceptionally, the delivery of the goods may be delayed due to circumstances beyond the Seller's control. In such event, the Seller undertakes to contact the Buyer immediately and agree the terms and other conditions of delivery. If the Seller fails to deliver the goods within the additional time limit, the Buyer shall withdraw from the contract for the sale of goods or services.


1.3.1. The proof of receipt of the goods will be the receipt slip or email confirmation that the parcel has been received and removed from the parcel office.

1.4. Delivery prices:

1.4.1. Delivery by DPD and Venipak self-service parcel terminals - Free delivery;

1.4.2. Delivery charges in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia via DPD and Venipak courier services - Free delivery;

1.5. Prices are subject to change in accordance with the proposals of the applicable partners.

1.6. The Seller shall not be liable for breach of delivery deadlines if the goods are not delivered to the Buyer or are not delivered on time due to the fault of third parties or due to circumstances beyond the Buyer's control.

1.7. Upon receipt of the goods in the Shop, the Customer shall receive a text message with the order number and shall present it upon receipt of the order. The Customer is obliged to inspect the condition of the consignment (whether the outer packaging is damaged) together with the Seller or its authorised representative and to sign the delivery note or other document of acceptance and delivery of the consignment. When the Buyer signs the delivery note or other document of acceptance and delivery, the consignment shall be deemed to have been delivered in good condition.

1.8. Upon receipt of the goods at a DPD or Venipak parcel office, the Customer shall receive a text message stating that the goods are ready for collection at that particular parcel office.

1.9. Upon receipt of the goods from the courier, the Customer shall sign a POD (Proof of Delivery) confirming that the Customer has received the goods.


1.10. The proof of receipt of the goods will be the receipt slip or email confirmation that the parcel has been received and removed from the parcel office.

1.11. If the packaging of the delivered item is noticed to be damaged (wrinkled, wet or otherwise externally damaged), the Customer is obliged to note this on the invoice, delivery note or other document of acceptance and delivery of the item and to draw up a free-form item damage report in the presence of the Seller or its representative. If the Buyer fails to do so, the Seller shall be exonerated from liability for defects in the goods, provided that such defects are not due to a defect in the workmanship of the factory or to a lack of conformity of the goods, provided that such lack of conformity can be ascertained by an examination of the exterior of the goods.

1.12. If the Buyer notices any non-conformity, industrial defect or other defect in the Goods upon receipt of the consignment, the Seller shall be notified immediately. If the complaint is confirmed and the Buyer returns the goods of inadequate quality, the Seller undertakes to refund the price of the goods within 14 (fourteen) days, together with the costs of return.

1.13. Buyers who receive shipments at DPD or Venipak self-service terminals, noticing discrepancies, are obliged to inform Sony Center Store immediately.

1.14. The characteristics of all goods for sale are indicated in the descriptions attached to each item. The Seller is not responsible for the fact that the colour, shape or other characteristics of the goods in the online shop may not correspond to the actual size, shape and colour of the goods due to the characteristics of the computer monitor used by the Buyer.

1.15. Goods measuring more than 37 x 44 x 61 cm or weighing more than 20kg may be collected via DPD or Venipak courier service or at one of the Sony Center stores.
