The GODOX F400Bi is a professional bi-colour flexible LED mat designed for cinema, television, advertising, commercial photography, studio production, and demanding location work. With approximately 410W of maximum input power and a 1209 × 627 mm flexible light body, it combines substantial output with a slim, foldable construction that can be adapted to a wide variety of lighting positions.

A Large Soft Source That Follows the Scene

The flexible format is one of the defining characteristics of the F400Bi. Its aluminium-alloy X-frame provides a sturdy structure while allowing the light body to be folded for transportation and storage. The broad emitting surface creates naturally soft and even illumination, making the fixture well suited to portraits, interviews, groups, backgrounds, sets, and larger areas where a conventional rigid light source can be less convenient.

From Warm Tungsten to Cool Daylight

The 2700K–8500K CCT range gives the F400Bi extensive control over the character of its white light. Warm tungsten-like tones, neutral white, daylight, and cooler shades can all be selected from one source. The constant-power design is intended to maintain consistent output across the colour-temperature range, helping minimise noticeable changes in brightness when CCT is adjusted.

Serious Output Across the Entire Surface

At 5600K and 100% brightness, the F400Bi produces approximately 14,700 lux at one metre without additional accessories. Its maximum input power is approximately 410W, giving the flexible mat a substantial output while retaining the advantages of a large-area source. The result is a combination of broad illumination and professional-level intensity in a relatively slim package.

Professional Colour Accuracy and Smooth Dimming

With CRI and TLCI ratings of 96 or higher, the F400Bi is designed for accurate colour reproduction in camera-facing production. Brightness can be adjusted continuously from 0% to 100%, with linear, S-curve, exponential, and logarithmic dimming curves available. Eleven built-in FX modes provide additional options for atmospheric and simulated lighting effects.

Built for the Reality of the Production Set

The light body features IP65 water and dust resistance, while the foldable construction makes the mat easier to transport and store. The F400Bi is designed specifically as a cinema-grade flexible LED mat, balancing brightness, durability, weight, and adaptability. Its construction also helps protect the LED elements during storage and transportation.

Professional Control With Remarkable Mobility

The F400Bi supports onboard controls, DMX512 with RDM, 2.4GHz wireless control, and Bluetooth control through the Godox Light app. Bluetooth control reaches up to 30 metres, while the 2.4GHz remote can operate at distances of up to 60 metres. The system supports AC, 48V DC, and V-mount battery power, with optional CRMX control available through a TimoLink receiver. This combination makes the GODOX F400Bi a flexible large-format source that can move naturally between studio, location, and mobile production.
