Massive Soft Light With Cinematic Colour Freedom

The GODOX AM800R is a professional full-colour flexible LED lighting system designed for film, television, commercial production, large studios, and demanding location work. With 800W of power and a large-area flexible light mat, it combines the broad, naturally soft character of a large source with extensive colour control and professional production connectivity.

A Large Source That Adapts to the Environment

The AM800R uses a flexible LED mat together with a large-format frame, allowing the light source to be positioned in ways that are difficult to achieve with rigid fixtures. Its broad illuminated surface is well suited to creating even, comfortable light across people, sets, backgrounds, and larger areas while maintaining a relatively low-profile physical presence.

From 1800K Warmth to 10000K Daylight

The 1800K–10000K colour-temperature range gives the AM800R a remarkable amount of freedom when matching different environments. Warm tungsten-like tones, neutral whites, cool daylight, and more stylised colour temperatures can all be created from the same source, while green-magenta adjustment provides additional precision when matching other fixtures.

RGBW Colour With a Vast Creative Palette

Beyond conventional white light, the AM800R provides RGBW, HSI, GEL, CCT, and other professional colour-control modes. This makes it possible to move from subtle colour correction to highly stylised lighting without changing the physical light source. Built-in FX effects add dynamic options for scenes requiring movement, atmosphere, or simulated practical lighting.

Professional Colour Reproduction for Large Scenes

The AM800R is designed for accurate and consistent colour reproduction, making it suitable for camera-facing production where skin tones, products, set materials, and coloured surfaces need to remain reliable. Smooth dimming and multiple dimming curves provide additional control over how changes in brightness appear on camera.

Flexible Construction With Practical Light Shaping

The flexible mat can be adapted to different positions and large-area lighting configurations, while compatible diffusion and grid solutions allow the character and spread of the source to be refined. This gives the AM800R a useful range of applications, from broad ambient illumination to more controlled cinematic setups.

A Professional Lighting Platform Built for the Set

The AM800R supports professional control options such as DMX/RDM, wireless control, and network-based lighting protocols, allowing it to integrate into larger production systems. Its combination of 800W output, full-colour control, large-area illumination, flexible construction, and professional connectivity makes the GODOX AM800R a serious tool for productions where scale, versatility, and precise lighting control need to work together.
