The included smartphone clamp is designed to accommodate most smartphones currently available on the market. Its adjustable grip holds the phone securely in position, while the integrated 1/4-inch threaded attachment provides compatibility with suitable tripod supports and accessories. This makes the clamp useful beyond the included PIXI tripod, as it can also be mounted on other compatible supports with a standard 1/4-inch screw.

Dual Function as a Tripod and Handgrip

The PIXI tripod can be used both as a stable support on a flat surface and as a handheld grip for mobile photography and video recording. When opened, its legs provide a base for recording videos, taking photographs, capturing selfies and participating in video calls. When folded, the legs form a comfortable handle that helps maintain a controlled grip while filming or taking pictures by hand.

For entry-level DSLR use, Manfrotto specifies a camera body weighing no more than 650 g, a lens with a maximum focal length of 85 mm and a total equipment weight of up to 1 kg. Semi-professional and professional camera setups may exceed these limits, so the combined weight and balance of the equipment should be checked before use.
