The VILTROX AF 56mm F1.7 Air is a compact APS-C autofocus prime lens designed for portraits, everyday photography, street scenes and creative video work. Its 56mm focal length provides an approximately 85mm full-frame equivalent angle of view, creating a natural perspective that is particularly well suited to photographing people while maintaining a comfortable working distance.

Bright F1.7 Aperture

The maximum F1.7 aperture provides a useful combination of light-gathering capability and background separation. It allows the subject to stand out against a softly defocused background and can also help maintain practical shutter speeds in lower-light conditions. The aperture can be adjusted from F1.7 to F16, providing flexibility between shallow-depth-of-field portraits and scenes where greater depth of field is required.

The optical system consists of 11 elements in 9 groups and incorporates four ED elements together with three high-refractive-index elements. This configuration is designed to control chromatic aberration and maintain clear, detailed rendering throughout the image.
