Professional APS-C Portrait Lens

The VILTROX AF 75mm F1.2 PRO is a high-performance autofocus prime lens designed for APS-C mirrorless cameras. Its 75mm focal length provides an approximately 115mm full-frame equivalent field of view, making it particularly suitable for portraits, fashion, lifestyle photography and other subjects where controlled perspective and strong subject separation are important. The lens is available for Sony E, Nikon Z and Fujifilm X mounts.

Exceptional F1.2 Aperture

The exceptionally bright F1.2 maximum aperture provides a combination of high light-gathering capability and very shallow depth of field. It allows photographers to work with faster shutter speeds or lower ISO settings in reduced light while creating pronounced separation between the subject and background. The 11-blade diaphragm is designed to maintain smooth, rounded out-of-focus highlights throughout the aperture range from F1.2 to F16.

High-Resolution Optical Design

The optical construction consists of 16 elements arranged in 11 groups and includes four high-refractive-index elements. This sophisticated optical design is intended to maintain high resolution and contrast across the frame while controlling optical aberrations. The lens is designed to deliver detailed images even when used at its maximum aperture, making the F1.2 setting practical not only for low-light photography but also for creative control over depth of field.

Classic Telephoto Perspective

With its approximately 21.35° angle of view, the 75mm focal length on APS-C provides a moderate telephoto perspective equivalent to approximately 115mm on full frame. This focal length allows photographers to work from a comfortable distance while producing natural-looking proportions and useful background compression. It is well suited to head-and-shoulder portraits, half-body compositions, fashion work, event photography and selected detail subjects.

Fast and Quiet Autofocus

The lens uses an STM stepping motor combined with a lead-screw focusing mechanism and an internal focusing design. Autofocus is available alongside manual focus, with the focusing system designed for fast and precise operation even with the very shallow depth of field produced at F1.2. Eye and animal detection focusing is supported on compatible camera bodies, while the internal focusing system also helps keep the lens barrel stable during operation.

Professional Construction and Weather Protection

The AF 75mm F1.2 PRO is built as a professional-oriented lens with a dust- and moisture-resistant structural design intended for demanding outdoor use. The lens has a diameter of approximately 87 mm and a length of around 101 mm for the Sony E and Fujifilm X versions, while the Nikon Z version is approximately 102 mm long. Weight is approximately 670 g for Fujifilm X, 675 g for Sony E and 710 g for Nikon Z, excluding the front and rear caps and hood.

Controls, Filters and Complete Kit

The lens provides AF/MF control and a dedicated focus-lock button for quick access to frequently used focusing functions. A 77mm front filter thread supports a wide range of optical filters, while the USB-C port allows firmware updates when required. The standard package includes the lens, front and rear caps, lens hood, storage bag, user manual, packaging and warranty documentation, providing the essential accessories for immediate use.
