A New Generation of Standard Zoom
The SIGMA 20-60mm F2.8-4 DG | Contemporary redefines what a compact full-frame standard zoom can be. Its remarkable 20mm ultra-wide starting point and 60mm standard focal length create an exceptionally versatile range for landscapes, travel, interiors, everyday photography and portraits.

20mm Ultra-Wide Freedom
Starting at 20mm, this lens delivers an expansive perspective that brings architecture, landscapes and dynamic environmental scenes into the frame with impressive scale. At the same time, the 60mm end provides a natural perspective for more focused compositions without changing lenses.

Bright F2.8 Aperture
The maximum F2.8 aperture at 20mm provides valuable flexibility in challenging light, making it particularly effective for interiors, evening scenes and night photography. Combined with the full-frame format, it gives creators greater freedom to control exposure and visual atmosphere.

Exceptional Optical Design
The optical construction consists of 15 elements in 13 groups, including three SLD elements and three aspherical elements. This sophisticated design delivers high optical performance while maintaining the compact proportions that define the Contemporary series.

Remarkable Close-Up Capability
With a minimum focusing distance of just 15.8 cm at 28mm and a maximum magnification ratio of 1:2.3 at 35mm, the lens goes far beyond conventional standard zoom performance. It opens the door to striking close-up images with impressive subject presence.

Compact and Surprisingly Lightweight
Despite its full-frame coverage and ambitious 20mm starting point, the lens weighs only 385 g in L-Mount version and 375 g in Sony E-mount version. Its palm-sized design makes it an exceptionally attractive companion for travel, everyday shooting and video creation.

Fast HLA Autofocus
The High-response Linear Actuator (HLA) provides fast, precise and quiet autofocus with excellent tracking performance. The system is designed for both photography and video, while the lens architecture also minimizes focus breathing for smoother, more natural focus transitions.

Built for Modern Hybrid Creators
From spontaneous street photography to cinematic travel footage, the 20-60mm focal range provides an unusually broad creative toolkit in a single compact lens. Its versatile character makes it equally at home on a professional full-frame camera or a lightweight everyday setup.

Reliable in Demanding Conditions
A dust- and splash-resistant structure, combined with a water- and oil-repellent coating on the front element, adds confidence when shooting outdoors. Advanced optical design also helps suppress flare and ghosting, maintaining clarity and contrast in difficult lighting.

A Small Lens with Ambitious Vision
The SIGMA 20-60mm F2.8-4 DG | Contemporary brings together ultra-wide perspective, standard versatility, impressive close focusing and outstanding portability. It is a sophisticated all-purpose lens created for photographers and filmmakers who want maximum creative freedom without carrying unnecessary weight.
