Full-Color LED Fresnel Light
The GODOX F7-300R is a 300W-class full-color LED Fresnel fixture designed for studio, broadcast, film, television, stage, and professional content production. It combines a high-output LED source with a variable Fresnel optical system, allowing the character and direction of the light to be adjusted directly from the fixture. The full-color architecture makes it suitable for both precise white-light illumination and creative color applications.
RGBACL Six-Color Light Engine
The F7-300R uses Godox's RGBACL six-color mixing technology to produce a broad range of saturated and nuanced colors while maintaining high color accuracy. It supports CCT, HSI, X/Y, RGBW, ACL, and GEL modes, giving the user different methods of controlling white light and color. The color temperature range extends from 1800K to 10,000K, while green/magenta adjustment can be applied across a range of -100% to +100%.
High-Output 300W LED Source
With a power consumption of approximately 330W, the F7-300R provides substantial output for professional lighting applications. At 5600K with the beam focused to 15°, the fixture produces up to approximately 89,500 lux at 1 meter. Even when the beam is widened to 60°, output remains around 18,700 lux at the same distance. The LED source is flicker-free, making the fixture suitable for photography as well as high-frame-rate video production.
Variable 15°–60° Fresnel Beam
The integrated Fresnel optical system provides continuous beam adjustment from 15° to 60°. The narrow 15° setting concentrates the available output into a tighter, more intense beam for key lighting, long-distance illumination, and accent work, while the 60° setting produces a broader spread for larger areas and softer coverage. This variable beam system reduces the need to change optical accessories when moving between different lighting arrangements.
Four-Leaf Barndoors and Precise Light Control
The F7-300R is supplied with four-leaf barndoors that provide additional control over the direction and spread of the Fresnel beam. The leaves can be positioned independently to limit spill and shape the illuminated area, which is useful for controlling backgrounds, preventing unwanted light from reaching the lens, and defining the edges of a lighting setup. The fixture therefore combines adjustable beam width with mechanical shaping for more precise control.
Professional Control and Connectivity
The fixture can be operated directly from its onboard controls or remotely through the Godox Light App and professional DMX/RDM control. Bluetooth control is supported, while NFC can be used for quick fixture interaction with compatible devices. Four dimming curves—Linear, S-Curve, Exponential, and Logarithmic—allow the response of the 0–100% dimming range to be adapted to different production requirements. Fourteen built-in FX modes provide additional options for simulating practical and cinematic lighting effects.
Fanless Metal Construction and Power Pass-Through
The F7-300R uses a metal housing with passive cooling, eliminating fan noise and making it particularly suitable for sound-sensitive environments such as film sets, interviews, broadcast studios, and recording spaces. The fixture supports AC input and output for power pass-through between compatible units and includes DMX input and output connections. It operates from 100–240V AC at 50/60Hz, measures approximately 380 × 325 × 250 mm without the barndoors, and weighs approximately 7.3 kg.
