The GODOX SL150R is a 150 W RGB LED COB light designed for video production, photography, livestreaming, interviews, studio work, and stage applications. It combines substantial output with RGBWW technology, a broad color-temperature range, multiple color modes, and professional control options, giving the light a distinctly creative character.

150 Watts of Focused Professional Output

The SL150R offers up to approximately 165 W of input power and can reach around 26,000 lux at 1 meter at 5600 K with the standard reflector. Its concentrated COB architecture provides a strong directional source that can work as a key light, background source, accent, or powerful base for light-shaping accessories.

From 2500 K to 10,000 K — A Universe of Color

The 2500–10,000 K range gives the SL150R exceptional flexibility, moving from deeply warm tungsten-like tones through neutral white to cool daylight. This range can be combined with HSI, RGBW, and GEL modes, allowing the same fixture to move naturally between conventional illumination and highly stylized color work.

RGBWW Technology for Richer and More Controlled Color

The RGBWW engine is designed to provide an extensive color palette while maintaining strong color reproduction. With average CRI of at least 95 and TLCI of at least 96, the SL150R is capable of producing natural-looking skin tones while also opening the door to saturated colors, subtle hues, and precisely controlled creative lighting.

Fourteen Effects for Cinematic Atmosphere

The SL150R includes 14 built-in FX effects that can reproduce different practical lighting situations and add movement to a scene. Lightning, fire, flash, and other dynamic effects can be created directly from the fixture, giving productions another way to introduce atmosphere without additional dedicated equipment.

DMX, Wireless Control, App and Direct Operation

The SL150R is designed to fit naturally into both simple and advanced lighting systems. It supports DMX512, 2.4 GHz wireless control, Bluetooth through the Godox Light app, and control directly from the fixture. The system provides 32 channels, 16 groups, and up to 99 IDs, while 2.4 GHz control can reach up to approximately 50 meters.

Bowens Compatibility With a Compact Professional Body

The Bowens mount gives the SL150R access to a broad ecosystem of reflectors, softboxes, projection attachments, and other modifiers. Its 360° adjustable U-shaped bracket provides flexibility when positioning the fixture, while the approximately 2.35 kg body keeps the system relatively mobile. A mute mode is also available for productions where minimizing operating noise is important.
