5W Magnetic Full-Color LED Light

The GODOX MA5R is a compact full-color LED light designed for mobile photography, vlogging, livestreaming, selfies, smartphone content, and creative video production. Its extremely slim 13 mm body and 164 g weight make it easy to carry and use almost anywhere. The MA5R combines a pocket-sized fill light with a magnetic wireless power bank, making it a multifunctional accessory for mobile content creation.

1800K–10000K Color Temperature

The main fill light provides an exceptionally wide color temperature range from 1800K to 10000K, allowing the MA5R to produce anything from very warm, candle-like tones to cool daylight and blue-tinted light. Brightness can be adjusted from 0 to 100%, while green/magenta correction from -50 to +50 provides additional control when matching the light with other fixtures or correcting mixed-light environments.

Full-Color RGB Lighting

The MA5R offers full-color lighting capabilities, allowing a wide range of colors to be selected for creative applications. This makes it useful for adding colored accents to backgrounds, creating atmospheric effects, illuminating products, or introducing specific colors into portraits and video scenes. The light also includes 14 built-in FX modes for creating dynamic lighting effects.

Dedicated Selfie Light

A separate selfie light is integrated into the magnetic attachment area of the MA5R. It provides additional front-facing illumination when the device is attached to a smartphone, making it useful for selfies, video calls, livestreams, and mobile video recording. The selfie light has an adjustable color temperature from 2800K to 6500K and provides CRI of at least 96 and TLCI of at least 98.

Built-In Wireless Power Bank

The MA5R combines lighting with a magnetic wireless power bank, allowing it to provide additional power to compatible smartphones and mobile devices. Its 3.7V 4900mAh battery has a capacity of 18.13Wh. The USB-C port supports charging input up to 18W and can also provide power output, making the MA5R useful not only as a light but also as a compact emergency power source.

Long Battery Runtime

The integrated battery provides approximately 3 hours 40 minutes of operation at 100% brightness or approximately 7 hours 20 minutes at 50% brightness. Full charging takes around 1 hour 30 minutes. This makes the MA5R suitable for extended mobile shooting sessions where access to a conventional power source may be limited.

Magnetic Mounting and Wireless Control

The MA5R is designed for convenient magnetic attachment and can be mounted directly to compatible smartphones or magnetic accessories. It supports both NFC and Bluetooth connectivity, allowing the light to be added quickly to the Godox Light application and controlled remotely from a smartphone. Bluetooth control is available at distances of up to 30 meters. The light measures approximately 107 × 68 × 13 mm and operates in environments from -10°C to 40°C.
