5W Round RGB Mini Creative Light

The GODOX R1 is a compact 5W round RGB LED light designed for photography, video production, macro photography, portraits, product photography, livestreaming, and creative content creation. Its circular body has a diameter of approximately 75 mm and a thickness of 23 mm, while the weight is only about 150 g. This makes the R1 easy to carry, position, and use as a compact accent or fill light in both studio and mobile setups.

2500K–8500K Color Temperature

In CCT mode, the R1 provides adjustable color temperature from 2500K to 8500K, allowing the light to be matched with warm artificial lighting, neutral white light, or daylight. Brightness can be adjusted continuously from 0 to 100%, providing precise control over the intensity. The wide color temperature range makes the R1 suitable for both practical illumination and creative lighting applications.

Full RGB Color Control

The R1 offers a 360° RGB color gamut with adjustable hue, saturation, and brightness. This allows users to create a wide variety of colors directly from the light without relying on physical color gels. RGB mode can be used to add colored accents to backgrounds, illuminate products, create atmospheric lighting, or introduce specific color tones into portraits and video scenes.

High Color Accuracy

The LED source provides a CRI of approximately 98 and TLCI of approximately 97, helping maintain natural skin tones and accurate color reproduction when working with cameras. These characteristics make the R1 suitable for portraits, interviews, product photography, macro photography, and video production where consistent color is important. The fixture also includes a dedicated display for monitoring the selected lighting parameters.

14 Special Effects and 39 Presets

The R1 includes 14 categories of special FX effects with a total of 39 lighting modes. These effects can simulate different practical and environmental light sources and introduce dynamic changes into a scene. One of the available functions is a music-synchronized mode, in which the light responds to sound, rhythm, clapping, or tapping without requiring Bluetooth or smartphone control.

Built-In 1800mAh Battery

The R1 features an integrated 1800mAh lithium battery and can be charged through its USB Type-C port. At maximum output, the light provides approximately 90 minutes of continuous operation. This allows the R1 to be used as a completely portable light without requiring a constant connection to an external power source, which is particularly useful for location shooting and mobile content creation.

Magnetic Mounting and Creative Accessories

The R1 features a built-in magnet for quick attachment to suitable metal surfaces, while its 1/4"-20 mounting interface allows installation on compatible stands and supports. A magnetic accessory interface is also compatible with AK-R1 round-head light-shaping accessories, providing additional options for modifying the character and direction of the light. The compact metal body, low weight, and USB Type-C charging make the R1 a practical portable lighting tool for photographers and videographers.
