This allows you to monitor the condition of the razor and assess its discharge in good time, as well as possible damage. 

Automatic cleaning system
No need to wash and dry the razor or pull hair out of it. Place the Philips SP9883/36 Electric Shaver with Shaving Element face down on the charging pad and it will clean, dry and sanitise the blades, discs or grid all by itself.
