Ultra-Compact Keychain Camera

The YASHICA Funtastic Keychain Camera is an ultra-compact digital camera designed to stay within easy reach throughout the day. Measuring only 6.3 × 2.2 × 2.5 cm and weighing approximately 22 g, it can be carried on a keyring, clipped to a bag, or kept in a pocket without adding noticeable bulk. Its small ABS body combines the functionality of a simple digital camera with the portability of an everyday accessory.

Lo-Fi Digital Imaging

The camera uses a 1/4-inch CMOS image sensor with a resolution of 1 megapixel. Still photographs are recorded as JPG files at 1440 × 1080 resolution, giving the camera a deliberately simple digital imaging character rather than the high-resolution rendering of a modern smartphone or interchangeable-lens camera. This makes it suitable for spontaneous snapshots, casual documentation, travel memories, and photography where the compact camera experience itself is part of the appeal.

Fixed F2.8 Lens

A fixed 3.2 mm F2.8 lens provides a straightforward point-and-shoot experience without manual focal-length adjustments. The specified shooting distance starts at approximately 30 cm and extends to infinity, allowing the camera to be used for everyday subjects ranging from nearby people and objects to broader scenes. The fixed optical configuration keeps operation simple and contributes to the camera's exceptionally small physical dimensions.

180-Degree Flip Screen

The rear 0.96-inch display can flip through 180 degrees, making it possible to frame selfies and self-recorded videos while looking directly at the screen. This feature also provides additional flexibility for low-angle or unconventional compositions where the normal rear-screen position would be difficult to see. Combined with the camera's small size, the rotating display makes spontaneous self-portraits particularly easy to capture.

Photo and Video Recording

In addition to still photography, the Funtastic Keychain Camera can record AVI video at 30 frames per second. The fixed 1/125-second shutter provides a consistent shooting setup without requiring exposure adjustments, keeping the camera focused on simple and immediate operation. The built-in light can assist with casual shooting in darker surroundings, while the compact body makes the camera convenient for recording short clips and everyday moments.

MicroSD Storage and USB-C

Images and videos are stored on a microSD memory card with a capacity from 4 GB to 64 GB. YASHICA specifies Class 10 UHS-I media rated U1/V10 or higher, while the memory card itself is not included with the camera. A USB Type-C interface is used for both data transfer and charging, making it compatible with a widely adopted connection standard. Power is supplied by a built-in 200 mAh lithium-ion battery.

Everyday Carry Design

The Funtastic is designed as a camera that can remain with you rather than being carried only for dedicated photography sessions. Its 22 g weight, compact dimensions, integrated attachment point, flip screen, fixed lens, and straightforward controls make it suitable for spontaneous everyday photography. Available in multiple themed editions, the camera combines a deliberately playful appearance with a functional digital imaging system, offering a simple alternative to reaching for a smartphone whenever a quick photograph or short video is needed.
