NANLITE Forza 500 II Daylight is a professional 500W daylight-balanced LED spotlight designed for photography, filmmaking, commercial production, studio work, interviews, content creation, and demanding on-location applications. It combines very high output with a compact monolight-style body, making it suitable for situations where strong, consistent illumination is required. The fixture is designed as a daylight-only alternative to the bi-color Forza 500B II, providing a dedicated 5600K light source with a focus on maximum output and efficient operation.

5600K Daylight Color Temperature

The Forza 500 II Daylight uses a fixed color temperature of 5600K, providing a daylight-balanced light source suitable for matching natural daylight and other 5600K fixtures. This makes it particularly useful for outdoor shooting, large studio setups, and productions where consistent daylight illumination is required. Brightness can be precisely adjusted from 0 to 100%, allowing the output to be matched to the subject, camera exposure, and other lights in the setup.

High Color Accuracy

The LED source provides excellent color reproduction, with a CRI of approximately 98 and TLCI of approximately 95. These high color-rendering values help maintain natural skin tones and accurate colors when shooting photographs and video. The Forza 500 II Daylight is therefore well suited to portraits, interviews, commercials, product photography, film production, television work, and other applications where reliable color reproduction is important.

Powerful Output and Reflector

With a rated power of 500W, the Forza 500 II Daylight provides a substantial amount of light for its compact monolight design. The included reflector concentrates the output into a directional beam, making it possible to achieve high illuminance even at greater distances. The fixture can also be paired with compatible modifiers for softer, wider, or more controlled illumination. Its high output makes it particularly useful when working with large softboxes, diffusion materials, or when greater lighting distance is required.

Bowens Mount Compatibility

The Forza 500 II Daylight features a Bowens-compatible mount, providing access to a wide range of commonly available lighting accessories. Softboxes, Fresnel lenses, projection attachments, reflectors, lanterns, and other Bowens-mount modifiers can be used to shape and control the light. This flexibility allows the same fixture to be configured for hard directional lighting, soft key lighting, broad fill illumination, or more specialized effects depending on the production requirements.

The Forza 500 II Daylight includes 15 built-in special effects that can simulate a variety of practical and environmental light sources. These include HUE Loop, CCT Loop, INT Loop, Flash, Pulse, Storm, Police Car, TV, Paparazzi, Candle/Fire, Disco, Bad Bulb, Firework, Explosion, and Welding. The effects add creative possibilities for filmmaking and video production, allowing dynamic lighting scenes to be created directly from the fixture without requiring additional dedicated equipment.

Professional Control and Reliable Operation

The Forza 500 II Daylight can be controlled directly from the fixture or remotely through the NANLINK ecosystem. It supports wireless 2.4G control and DMX/RDM connectivity, allowing it to be integrated into professional multi-light systems and controlled alongside other fixtures. The high-power LED source is supported by an active cooling system designed for continuous professional operation, while selectable fan modes allow the user to balance cooling performance and operating noise. The fixture can therefore serve both as a powerful standalone key light and as part of a larger studio or production lighting system.
