The NANLITE FC-500B is a professional bi-color LED spotlight designed for photography, filmmaking, video production, studio work, interviews, commercial projects, and content creation. With a maximum power of 520W, it delivers a substantial amount of continuous light while maintaining a compact and relatively lightweight form factor. The separate light head and power supply make the system easier to position and handle, while the included padded rolling case makes transportation and storage more convenient.

2700K–6500K Color Temperature

The FC-500B provides an adjustable color temperature range from 2700K to 6500K, allowing the light to reproduce warm tungsten-style illumination, neutral white light, and cooler daylight tones. Brightness can be adjusted from 0 to 100% in precise 0.1% increments, making it possible to fine-tune the intensity for different shooting conditions. Constant Output Mode can maintain consistent brightness when changing color temperature, while Maximum Output Mode provides the highest available output when maximum intensity is required.

High Color Accuracy

The LED source provides an average CRI of 96 and TLCI of 98, helping reproduce natural skin tones and maintain consistent color when working with cameras. The FC-500B also achieves SSI values of 84 at 3200K and 74 at 5600K, making it suitable for professional applications where reliable color reproduction is important. It can be used for portraits, interviews, product photography, commercial production, studio work, and filmmaking.

Powerful Output and Bowens Mount

The 520W LED source provides high light output for a fixture of its size. At 1 meter, the FC-500B produces approximately 21,110 lux at 5600K from the light head alone, while the included reflector increases the output to approximately 65,640 lux. The Bowens mount allows the light to be paired with a wide range of compatible softboxes, reflectors, Fresnel lenses, projection attachments, umbrellas, and other modifiers, providing flexibility in shaping and controlling the light.

The FC-500B includes 12 built-in special effects designed to reproduce different practical and environmental light sources. These effects provide additional creative possibilities for filmmaking and video production, allowing dynamic and atmospheric lighting to be created without additional dedicated equipment. The fixture also offers smart fan modes, giving the user more control over the cooling system and operating noise during production.

Flexible Power and Mounting Options

The FC-500B is designed primarily for AC operation and includes a dedicated power supply. The optional NANLITE FC PowerController allows the fixture to be powered from V-Mount batteries for mobile and location production, while also functioning as a dual V-Mount battery charger. The power supply can be suspended from a light stand using its safety strap, and a quick-release mounting plate provides additional installation options. The light head features a 360° rotating yoke with a stepless locking mechanism for quick and precise positioning.

Professional Control

The FC-500B can be controlled directly using its onboard controls and 2.0-inch display, or remotely through the NANLINK mobile application using Bluetooth. It also supports 2.4G wireless control and DMX/RDM through a locking metal 3.5mm connection, allowing the fixture to be integrated into professional multi-light systems. A USB connection provides the ability to update firmware as new features become available.
