Hybrid LED and Flash Light

The GODOX FV150 is a hybrid lighting fixture that combines a 150W daylight LED source with a dedicated flash function in one compact unit. It can operate as a continuous LED light for video production and general illumination or as a flash for still photography, making it suitable for creators who need both lighting formats without changing fixtures between shooting situations.

150W Daylight LED Output

The FV150 uses a 150W LED source with a fixed color temperature of 5600K ±200K, providing a daylight-balanced output suitable for natural-looking illumination and consistent integration with other daylight fixtures. Continuous brightness can be precisely adjusted from 0% to 100%, while the LED mode produces approximately 12,000 lux at 1 meter at maximum output. The light offers a CRI of approximately 96 for reliable color reproduction.

Four-Times Flash Brightness

In flash mode, the FV150 delivers approximately four times the brightness of its continuous LED output, providing a substantially stronger instantaneous light burst. This additional output is useful for freezing movement, working with lower ISO settings, or maintaining smaller apertures when greater exposure control is required. Flash power can be adjusted from 1/16 to full power and displayed either as fractional values or on a decimal scale from 6.0 to 10.0.

High-Speed Synchronization

The FV150 supports high-speed synchronization up to 1/8000s, making it suitable for outdoor portraits, action photography and situations where ambient light needs to be controlled while maintaining a wide aperture. At half power, the unit can produce more than 10 consecutive flashes per second in standard operation and up to 8 flashes per second in HSS mode, providing the response needed for fast-moving subjects and continuous shooting.

Eight Built-In FX Effects

As a continuous LED light, the FV150 includes eight built-in FX special effects for simulating different lighting situations. These effects can be used to create changing illumination patterns for video production, music content, interviews, narrative scenes and creative photography. The LED brightness is adjustable from 0% to 100%, allowing the effects and continuous output to be integrated into a lighting setup with precise intensity control.

Godox X Wireless System

The FV150 features a built-in 2.4GHz Godox X wireless receiver with 32 channels and 16 groups. It is compatible with Godox X-system transmitters for Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fujifilm, Panasonic, Olympus and Pentax camera systems, allowing the light to be controlled remotely as part of a multi-light setup. Flash power and other available parameters can be adjusted without directly accessing the fixture.

Bowens Mount and Practical Construction

The FV150 uses a Bowens mount, making it compatible with a wide selection of standard light modifiers, including softboxes and reflectors. Its U-shaped bracket allows the light to be positioned at different angles, while the large LCD display provides clear access to operating parameters. The housing incorporates a heat-dissipation system for extended operation. The fixture measures approximately 340 × 200 × 160 mm without the standard reflector and weighs approximately 3.13 kg.
