Hybrid LED and Flash Light

The GODOX FV200 is a hybrid lighting fixture that combines a powerful continuous LED light with a high-speed flash system in a single housing. Designed for photographers and video creators who need both constant illumination and flash capability, it can be used as a conventional continuous light or switched to flash mode when additional instantaneous power is required.

200W LED Continuous Output

The FV200 uses a 200W LED light source with a fixed daylight color temperature of 5600K ±200K. In LED mode, brightness can be adjusted continuously from 0% to 100%, allowing the light output to be precisely matched to the scene, camera settings, and other fixtures. At 100% output, the light provides approximately 18,000 lux at a distance of 1 meter, making it suitable for studio, portrait, product, and video applications.

Four-Times Flash Brightness

One of the main characteristics of the FV200 is its hybrid flash architecture. In flash mode, the unit can produce approximately four times the brightness of its continuous LED output, providing substantially more instantaneous light for freezing movement and working at lower ISO settings or smaller apertures. Flash power can be adjusted from 1/16 to full power, with the output displayed either as conventional fractional values or on a decimal scale from 6.0 to 10.0.

High-Speed Sync and Rapid Flashing

The FV200 supports high-speed synchronization up to 1/8000s, making it suitable for outdoor photography, portraits with wide apertures, and scenes where ambient light needs to be controlled precisely. At half power, the unit can deliver more than 10 consecutive flashes per second in standard flash operation and up to 8 flashes per second when operating with high-speed sync, providing a practical solution for dynamic subjects and fast shooting sequences.

Creative LED Effects

When used as a continuous light, the FV200 provides eight built-in FX special effects for simulating different lighting situations and creating more varied visual environments. These effects can be used for photography, video production, music content, interviews, and creative scenes where changing light patterns are part of the visual design. The continuous output can be precisely adjusted from 0% to 100%, while the modeling light brightness can also be controlled independently.

Wireless Godox X System

The FV200 incorporates a built-in 2.4GHz Godox X wireless receiver and provides 32 channels with 16 selectable groups, allowing multiple lights to be controlled as part of a larger lighting setup. It is compatible with Godox X-system transmitters for Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fujifilm, Panasonic, Olympus and Pentax systems. Wireless control makes it possible to adjust flash power and other lighting parameters without having to access the fixture directly.

Bowens Mount and Professional Construction

The FV200 features a Bowens mount, providing compatibility with a broad range of standard light modifiers, including softboxes, reflectors and other accessories. Its U-shaped bracket allows the fixture to be tilted into different positions, while the large LCD display provides clear access to operating parameters. The housing is designed with an effective heat-dissipation system for extended operation, and the unit measures approximately 367 × 200 × 160 mm without the standard reflector and weighs about 3.3 kg.
