The GODOX F800R is a professional full-colour flexible LED light mat designed for film, television, commercial production, photography, and large-scale studio work. Its 122.1 × 122.1 cm flexible surface combines an impressive 900W maximum power consumption with a form factor that can be folded, curved, or positioned in ways that would be difficult for a rigid light source.

A Powerful 4 × 4-Foot Source With Exceptional Coverage

The large illuminated surface produces broad and even illumination, making the F800R suitable for lighting groups, wide scenes, backgrounds, products, and larger studio spaces. At 5600K, the fixture can produce around 23,700 lux at 1 metre, giving the flexible mat substantial output for professional production environments.

From 1800K Warmth to 10000K Daylight

The 1800K–10000K colour-temperature range gives the F800R remarkable freedom when building a lighting concept. Warm amber tones, neutral white, daylight, and cooler cinematic looks can all be created from the same source, while green-magenta adjustment from -100% to +100% provides additional precision when matching other fixtures or ambient light.

Full-Colour Control Without Compromise

The F800R goes far beyond conventional bi-colour lighting with RGBW, HSI, GEL, CCT, and X/Y control options. Fourteen built-in FX modes cover effects such as lightning, television, candlelight, fire, fireworks, welding, police lights, SOS, RGB cycling, and party lighting, giving the mat a broad creative vocabulary for cinematic and commercial work.

Professional Colour Accuracy Across the Entire Frame

With average CRI of 96 or higher and TLCI of 97 or higher, the F800R is designed for consistent and camera-friendly colour reproduction. Smooth 0–100% dimming and four selectable dimming curves — linear, S-curve, exponential, and logarithmic — provide precise control over both intensity and the visual character of transitions.

Flexible by Nature, Ready for Demanding Locations

The defining feature of the F800R is its flexible construction. The mat can be folded, curved, or adapted to unconventional mounting positions, while IP54 protection on both the light body and controller allows operation in a wider range of indoor and outdoor production environments. The system also includes a softbox and dedicated mounting hardware for more controlled setups.

A Complete Professional Lighting Platform

The F800R supports onboard controls, DMX512 with RDM, LumenRadio CRMX, Ethernet with Art-Net and sACN, and Bluetooth app control. Its controller accepts 100–240V AC power, while the system can also be used with optional V-mount battery solutions. With a 3 kg flexible light body, 6.5 kg controller, IP54 construction, and extensive control options, the F800R is a serious large-format lighting tool built around flexibility rather than conventional rigid construction.
