The GODOX F400R is a professional full-colour flexible LED light designed for film, television, commercial production, photography, studio work, and demanding location shoots. Its large 2 × 4-foot flexible surface combines a maximum power consumption of around 430W with a form factor that can be folded and adapted to different lighting positions, bringing the character of a large soft source into a remarkably versatile package.

A Large Surface Built for Beautifully Soft Illumination

The 600 × 1200 mm flexible LED mat creates a broad emitting area that naturally produces softer and more spacious illumination than a small point source. This makes the F400R particularly well suited to portraits, interviews, groups, product scenes, backgrounds, and larger sets where an expansive field of light is valuable.

A Full Spectrum From 1800K to 10000K

The F400R offers an exceptionally broad 1800K–10000K colour-temperature range, giving it the flexibility to move from deep warm tones through neutral white to cool daylight. Green-magenta adjustment from -100% to +100% provides additional precision when matching ambient light or integrating the fixture with other professional sources.

RGBW Colour With Cinematic Freedom

CCT, HSI, RGBW, GEL, and X/Y modes provide extensive control over the colour of the light. The F400R also includes 14 categories of built-in FX effects, covering creative scenarios such as lightning, candlelight, fire, television, fireworks, welding, police lights, and other dynamic sources. The result is a lighting tool that can move effortlessly between subtle correction and expressive colour work.

High Colour Accuracy for Camera-Critical Work

With average CRI and TLCI values of 96 or higher, the F400R is designed to deliver reliable colour reproduction across professional productions. Brightness can be smoothly adjusted from 0% to 100%, while four selectable dimming curves allow the response of the light to be adapted to the desired visual character and production workflow.

Flexible Construction, Serious Production Potential

The flexible mat can be folded and shaped for different installation requirements, while the light body and controller feature IP54 protection. A dedicated softbox and grid are available to further control the large light source, allowing the broad output to be softened or directed according to the scene.

A Professional Lighting System With Extensive Control

The F400R supports onboard operation, DMX512 with RDM, LumenRadio CRMX, Ethernet control through Art-Net and sACN, and Bluetooth control via the Godox Light app. Its controller accepts 100–240V AC power, while optional V-mount battery solutions add mobile possibilities.
